Acrylics require special techniques.  While this course is similar to the oil painting course the emphasis is on the special skills required to work effectively with acrylics.  The course starts with the basics and includes demonstrations, videos, handouts, art reviews and lots of hands-on practice. Students create paintings of their own design, learning to problem-solve color, composition, and content.
